ABOUT ME
My work brings together green and just transition policies, private-sector development, and corporate sustainability. I have spent more than fifteen years working across different regions, institutions, and economic contexts. What has consistently interested me is how policy, regulatory and investment choices impact firms, institutions, and people on the ground, particularly the most economically disadvantaged and affected by climate change.
Global & Institutional Experience
I have worked with the World Bank Group, the Donor Committee for Enterprise Development (DCED), international development partners, and multi-donor initiatives on issues ranging from investment policy and foreign direct investment to SME competitiveness and sustainability-related regulation. This work has taken me across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, the Western Balkans, and Latin America, combining analytical research with direct engagement in country and firm-level contexts.
Start-up & Carbon Markets

Alongside this international policy and research work, I have also been closely engaged with early-stage companies and start-ups in Vienna, particularly those working on sustainability, innovation, and impact. I also have experience with market-based climate instruments, including early-stage origination and design of carbon-market–linked climate mitigation initiatives, which has shaped how I think about the role of carbon finance and its relevance in emerging and developing countries.
Values

Collaboration and knowledge-sharing: I enjoy collaborating closely with policymakers, firms, and partners to create a shared understanding and motivate informed action.
Bridging international and local: I am informed by international good practices and frameworks, but always guided by local realities and capacities.
Trusted partnerships: I work across public and private actors, enabling coordination, shared ownership, and more effective implementation.
Working as part of a team: I enjoy working as part of multidisciplinary teams and alongside institutional counterparts. Much of my work is done in close collaboration with policymakers, firms, and partners, where progress depends on shared ownership rather than individual expertise.
